I was pretty bored yesterday, so I loaded one of my half-done reason projects and tampered with it a bit. It was then that I found that type of guitar pluck (or something like it anyway) that I've dreamed of; it was the only element missing from my list of instrument needed to create a rock song. So I got down to work and threw this one together: http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen /147903 I was intending to put more classical instruments into it (I'm an orchestra-maniac), but it ended up sounding good with just one marcato violin.
School is really starting to culminate now; next week I'm going to have german exams (>_< >_< >_<), along with a history test and who knows what else. So I think I'll really stop working on my songs till the summer break comes.

Sometimes I just have to laugh at myself. When I say 'I'm gonna finish this song and remix that and blablabla because I'll have a lot of time', that's when I don't do anything at all. And when I say 'omg too much school I won't be able to write music for a while now' I come up with two new songs in a week. Talk about reliabilty. I'm currently working on - guess it - a classical song. I have a short version of it completed, but I dunno how to finish it exactly. Possibly I'll extend it further into a longer classical song, then I plan to make a part two, which will have the same melodies and mood, but DnB. (Hmm, haven't made DnB in ages.) I'm not sure how it'll turn out in the end; but I can assure everyone it will be awesome :P Suggestions, perhaps? Should I submit a preview?

So I haven't been doin much with my projects. And now the end of the year test-a-thon is coming too. If not earlier, I'm surely going to start working in the summer break though.

Finally, I got myself to finish the hardcore song whose demo has been on my page for quite a while now. Though I have written in my journal that in the spring break I'll have time to work on songs, I fwcked most of that time away (not literally ^^') and did nothing but played on teh comp. Rappelz, Guild Wars, more Rappelz, more Guild Wars, Adventure Quest... I'm an rpg nerd 8/ But finally in the last few days I restrained myself and began work. And behold the result: another insane hardcore piece, IMO better than all my previous work in this genre (yeah, I realized I do say that for every hardcore song I make :P). Contains some of the new soundfonts I have recently downloaded. And it's totally euphorical XD Share your opinions ppl!

Edit: ZOMG HOLY CRAB... This is awesome stuff. There must be hundreds of soundfonts in here, I haven't had enough time to check them all out, but have taken a look at the obviously interesting ones. There's EVERYTHING in here: an incredible choir, some rock guitars (finally!!!!), lots of ethnic instruments, awesome brass, drums... I swear I'll spend some time very soon to listen to all of them.
P. S.: Awesome classical is imminent. With the new instruments. Especially the ethnic stuff and brass.

School is still overwhelming me, I haven't had a weekend in 4 or 5 weeks now that I haven't spent in 80-90% with learning. Until this fucked up period ends I don't know when I'll be able to work on new songs. If not earlier, then in the spring break I'll get back to work for sure.

I cannot bring myself to write it down. This was my first, only and favourite mmorpg. I have been playing it day and night since the summer. I loved it, I always thought about it, I was too enthusiastic, too involved... And now...
I know it's just a game, and I'm an idiot, and I'm too sensitive, and people are dying on the other half of the world, but now I really really dont give a fuck about that; I'm unspeakably shocked and depressed. I'm literally in pieces, fucked up, down in the dumps. I know it's not a big problem and I could have far worse problems, but I really dont care. This has been a huge bitchslap from life. A two-handed one with studded iron gauntlets.
The positive (??????) side: soon you can expect another very melancholic song. But this time, there will be real feelings behind it. Call me a sentimental weenie. I do not care.

Well, the crisis is over. At least, I dont feel like drowning the world in my blood anymore =_=' I've started looking for another mmo, and stumbled upon this http://video.mmosite.com/display.php?v id=6886&gid=269 I fell in love with the first song in this vid (can't help it, have an affinity for japanese/whatever whiney breakbeat shit XD). Happy new year to all, if a little late (lol). New year, new lazyness, so don't expect me to make songs much more frequently^_^' Anyway, good news: I've got an mp3 converter and 2.1 speakers for Christmas. So 1) there won't be any trouble with trial converters anymore (fuck roxio :P) and 2) I can enjoy songs from the other end of the flat too^^. Some songs are real bass blasters on the new speakers, like MaestroRage's The Journey.
New song: Vengeful Remembrance (yeah I suck at titles... couldn't find a better one in hours :/). Dragon198901 advised me to make a classical song with big slow drums; well I suppose this is it, even though they're not that big. Includes 5 different pianos, and the MiniDizi flute (thanks to MaestroRage again for showing me where to get it!). The melody can be described as wondering, melancholic, defiant. Go listen vote n review :P

Ok, I had enough of ppl flaming and blamming the demo of Lux Aeterna Remix. Now I'm going to upload the full (since it fits now due to the 8 meg limit), I don't care it's old, and I'll delete the demo. And if these aforementoined people still don't like it, then they should either listen to something else, or SHUT THE FUCK UP and make a better version if they have soooo much more talent than me. Duh, I'm still way too addicted to DECO online... so I still haven't been working on songs much... but, now that the winter break is coming, I'll have more time to do so. I'm also planning to clean up my whole audio database. This means replacing some songs with better quality and/or fixed versions and deleting some remaining demos.
P.S.: There is roughly 70-80% possibility that my next song will be classical, made with Reason (it's already in progress). Either that or something I start anew.

As mentioned before, I'm working on a trance song, and now I'll tell you what it is: the trance remix of the intro theme of the second series of the anime Slayers, titled Give A Reason. The original song is very nice, if you can get used to the japanese whining :/ I've listened to a few japanese songs in this style and my opinion is that though the instrumentation and singing is mostly a bit crappy, there are some very nice and original melodies, which are worth remixing.
P.S.: The only anime I like is Slayers. I'm NOT an anime fan in general, in fact a lot of animes give me the creeps >_< But not this one^^ Slayers ownz.

I've started making a very... interesting song. It's something completely insane, but I won't be able to upload it because it contains a loop from an existing song, therefore it's not allowed according to the audio portal rules. However, when it's done and if it comes out good enough, I will make it available by e-mail (requested by pm). I won't tell you what it is, it's a surprise song, anyone who wants to find out will have to send me a pm XD
P.s.: It will be SPEEDCORE. Don't expect even a remote resemblance to a normal song^^

On wednesday I'm gonna get the 14th part of the Magix Sound Pool series. The songs Deep Space Paradise, Fall Of The Last City and Final Conquest were made with samples from the 12th Sound Pool, so you can expect some very nice, although loop-based songs soon.

Putting more songs together using these samples will be harder than I initially thought. There are some very nice movie score samples included, but I couldn't assemble them into an acceptable song yet.

Until now my audio converter (some older Easy CD-DA extractor)has been supposedly hacked up so the trial period would never expire. However, it somehow did expire today =_= I downloaded a new version but that is also trial only. I also tried downloading some free converters, but I only found one type yet, the same program dressed in different skins (-_-'). It works, only the AP upload page displays 'not valid mp3 format' when I try to upload a song converted with that. So basically I have no converter now T_T Now my only possible way of converting is loading a wav file into FL and exporting as mp3 :/ But that method's kinda twisted, so if anyone knows of a FREE and RELIABLE audio converter, please send me a pm!!

The break is over but I'm happy because I've fully recovered from the sickness, and I also managed to finish a song. It's called Lustrous Horizon, and it's my first really happy classical song. Reviews welcome, as always.

I decided to remove Degraded Ecliptic Mix, because it was such a piece of shit that it was a shame for me. That was my only submission that I admit was really really bad. I really don't know what I was thinking when I uploaded it like that. Perhaps I was sitting on my ears. Bad choice of instruments, bad timing, bad everything, so... it just had to go down the drain. Sorry for those who might have liked it (was there anyone? I doubt so).

Why is the number of my audio reviews getting smaller? Are my reviews disappearing? Or are people deleting their songs? I had 125 a while ago, yesterday it was 123, now it's 122... Plus there is at least one review I know of which is NOT DISPLAYED ON THE LIST, although if I view the song itself, it's there. Odd.

The disease attacked my guts so I was in hospital, I came home today. These have been the crappiest 3 days of my life, and my worst autumn break ever. I'm still recovering but I'll try to spend as much time with composing as possible.
